VLR - Very Light Rail

As city centres move to become car free, VLR provides a flexible transport solution catering for both city residents/visitors, as well as businesses with the movement of cargo/deliveries. VLR Passenger and Cargo Pods are able to be swapped and changed depending on demand.

VLR is designed to be easily integrated into city centres. It's width is the same as a bus (2.55m) meaning easier modification to existing roads, and having its own battery and motor means that it operates with no catenary.
The interior of the Passenger Pod has been designed to be flexible, adapting to demands from passenger to passenger, hour to hour. The folding seat design allows the interior to transform from comfortably seating groups of up to four in each cabin, to allowing larger groups space during busier times. The folding seat also allows wheelchair users to sit with their companions, moving away from traditional segregated seating on public transport for wheelchair users.
Adjustable lean-seating located closest to the doors provides more comfort over standing for passengers undertaking shorter journeys, whilst also allowing more space for more passengers to travel.
